According to a source from the Videogame co-founder of Media Molecule, David Smith, LittleBigPlanet 2 already has surpassed the record set with the first LBP, of online users simultaneously present. "And that's just with North America and a few other territories," adds Smith. "I think that Sony would not want if I reveal the exact figure, I can only say that this is a number much higher than the record of LittleBigPlanet." "In the coming days we could double the number of users simultaneously present.We'll see." Launched in November 2008, the first LittleBigPlanet had reached two million online users after just two months. "The life cycle of LBP is incredible and the number of concurrent users continues to increase. It is expected that this kind of games die after a while, but it was the opposite." LittleBigPlanet 2 will be available in Italy from 26 January.
