EVE Online: real money for virtual goods

Thousands of players who have illegally acquired objects for real money play EVE Online, have seen his character exposed to public ridicule. EVE News 24 has received a document that clearly shows 4190 transactions made by various players against Iskbank, for a "modest" sum total of over $ 290,000. The average cost for each transaction is just under $ 70, although in many cases the same person has done for many many thousands of green bucks.

EVE News 24 decided to publish it and to reveal the names of those responsible. Iskbank countered on its website that the common list was "totally false" and accused of slander EVE News 24, even threatening a lawsuit. The EVE Online development team has instead made to feel on the official forum: "do not want to comment on the incident until it is fully clarified, but we take advantage of the opportunity to experience the whole community who buy virtual goods for real money is a violation that liable to be punished by expulsion from the game.
