Grasshopper and Electronic Arts together to Shadows of the Damned. One strange marriage between the U.S. multinational and eccentric author of No More Heroes and Killer 7. During the GDC 2011, some journalists have asked Suda 51 as he did to convince EA to publish his latest work, Shadows of the Damned, under peculiar and decidedly out of the norm of the publisher's products, at least with regard to the content.
Suda revealed that the game really loved it and it was Electronic Arts to ask him to become a shooter, so you can make inroads into Western markets. He and his studio have gladly accepted, just to be able to meet the tastes of a very different market than the Japanese. Thus, among the developers who deal with the global market, he cited Criterion, Media Molecule and Starbreeze, just to understand where he wants to go.
