There is still room for uniqueness in a home console, according to Miyamoto

The Café Project will represent an evolution of the Wii, at least from the conceptual point of view in an interview to the Telegraph, Shigeru Miyamoto also talked about the ideas behind the Project Café, the console still named interim successor to the Wii that will be presented during this year's E3.

When he was asked how he will replicate the success of Nintendo with the Wii, Miyamoto said: "There is still room for uniqueness in a home console. As you know, the Wii is a console designed for the family, use in living with relatives. We hope to find an evolution of that idea, and there are some options that we are already thinking.

" Miyamoto's contribution has often led to the introduction of surprises and innovation in the world of video games, and probably will be so in the future. "With the new technical possibilities, the game design is experiencing its most prosperous period," said the legendary designer. "Nowadays I think it's really important to create unique designs, different from each other.

Making games is expensive, so the uniqueness is fundamental, but you have to use their energy to develop an idea, or everything the budget of the world will not suffice. " Source: Telegraph
