The Kinect has exceeded 10 million units sold and has been newly defined by David Braben as "the best device ever created for analog input." "It 'much more precise than any analog stick on the market," said the creator of Elite, "in some ways is even better than a mouse, whose use is much more limited." Some companies would object to the accuracy of Kinect, especially considering the difficulties encountered in the launch titles.
