The Entertainment division of Microsoft has been an increase in revenue of 45% compared to last year, largely due to strong sales of the Xbox 360. The console has sold 13.7 million units in fiscal 2011, net income compared to 10.3 million in the previous period. 1.7 of these were sold in the last 3 months.
Even this figure has improved compared to 1.5 million in the corresponding quarter of 2010. The total revenue of the entire division, which includes Windows Mobile and Zune, I finally rose to 1.48 billion dollars compared to 1.14 last year.
