Many people were now resigned to the idea of being able to get their hands on Diablo III only in 2012, but apparently Blizzard was seeking to surprise everyone, throwing it on the market by the end of this year. Despite what you may think it is not simple addition of rumors, but official statements uttered by the CEO of the company, or Michael Morhaime, during the most recent meeting of the shareholders.
"We are not yet able to announce a definitive date," said Morhaime. "There is still much work to do, but do not rule to distribute the game by the end of the year." Personally I do not think that Blizzard can do it, especially if we consider their obsessive attention to detail and their rampant perfectionism, however, the hope is always the last to die, right?
