DESTINY X-MEN (PS3): New details on X-Men Destiny

After two X-Men trailer dedicated to Destiny rich ad poor in details, Silicon Knights has released several new information through Official Xbox Magazine. As you might guess, and as it is fashionable for a few months, we talk about a game focused on combat and cinematic narrative style. The story begins after the death of Professor Xavier in a San Francisco split between mutants and humans, antecedent of a script designed for mature audiences and dark tones, but without exaggeration or excessive splatter type of violence (at least according to developers) .

FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION (PS3): Fight Night Champion without gloves

The video you find at the bottom of this news (even in high resolution, if you like), is the second update for movie Fight Night Champion that the publisher EA Sports has decided to distribute via YouTube. The protagonist is, this time, the "predicament" of the single-player mode in which we are forced to fight bare-handed almost, though without gloves, the ring of a prison gym.

As you can see the harshness of the clash is heightened by the possibility of committing misconduct against opponent's funny ... to receive and, where appropriate.

Apart from the free copy of the game (certainly not commensurate to the efforts premium), the four artists will use their work during the campaign, the grand prize winner will also receive the Marvel vs.

CATHERINE (PS3): Catherine will finally have a demo

Catherine is one of the most mysterious and intriguing titles expected in the coming weeks, also because no one knows about him virtually nothing but an action that will be toned vaguely sexy set in the world of Shin Megami Tensei. Unfortunately, its release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is set in February in Japan only (for now), but the team has promised that Atlus will release in the coming weeks on the Japanese PlayStation Store demo of the game (hopefully at least with English subtitles ).

The World PvP arena, which introduces a new game modes (Dodgeball), three new achievements and support "drop-in/drop-out" offline cooperative multiplayer.

Unfortunately, the DLC, once downloaded on Xbox 360, is not recognized and therefore can not be used. It seems that the problem is due to the lack of an update patch of the game expected soon, but right now there is still no official explanation by Ubisoft.

Castle Crashers (PS3): Castle Crashers at a height of two million

The official blog of the developers The Behemoth celebrated (on Christmas Day, most importantly) the two million players for the Xbox 360 version of Castle Crashers, the game launched in the now distant summer of 2008 on Xbox Live Arcade and immediately accepted welcomed by the public and press. As reported later by Kotaku, the most optimistic expectations for sales stood at that time around a few hundred thousand copies and already one million would be considered a success, "out" parameter.

DARK PROJECT (PS3): Signs of life by Dark Project

Since its hasty announcement at the Tokyo Game Show 2010 we have had no news of Project Dark, the spiritual result of Demon's Soul (or what purports to be) working on it from From Software for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The darkness on this action-RPG should partly thinned soon, because From Software has updated the official page of the game with an "ad" on early next year (and thus become infected by the fever "ad ad "so dear to many editors recently ...).

KINECT (X360) Kinect "before" Move throughout the 2011?

As you can read on Gamasutra (which gives an explanation on the basis of information given by GameSpot), the British analysts Screen Digest have asked their crystal ball to predict with regard to sales and Move Kinect throughout 2011, concluding that the sensor bar of Microsoft will sell more - even if not more - than the "magic wand" to Sony.

In particular, we are talking about 7.6 million Kinect that are likely to be sold next year against 7.3 million PlayStation 3 consoles each contain at least one controller Move, not counting any additional controller bought for the multiplayer. Please note that the official figures currently sees 4.1 million and 2.5 million distributed Move Kinect sold at the end of November.

MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3: FATE OF TWO WORLDS (PS3): attacks Galactus Marvel VS Capcom 3?

The artist Kevin Sharpe would have missed an interesting detail on the list of characters in Marvel VS Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds, the third installment of the famous series of fighting cross-over "developed by Capcom. Sharpe would be working on a comic book that will accompany the release of the game and has already released some pages are not definitive in its online portfolio.

These images were later removed in a matter of hours, time enough to see that next to the "bad" targati Marvel already confirmed in the game were also deployed two major "intruders" Galactus and Taskmaster. It remains to be seen whether these are two simple cameo in the comic or - as you would suspect the sudden removal of materials from the site - additional fighters in the game and have not been announced by Capcom.

CATHERINE (PS3): A pillow for Catherine

That Catherine was a game out of the ordinary was evident from the earliest ads: it's not every day to meet with an action-game-hued so openly sexy and alluring, seductive stuff to embarrass the Bayonetta. Enterbrain, publisher of Famitsu, has thought well to adapt by offering a special edition of the game developed in agreement with Atlus, producer of the game.

FINAL FANTASY XIII (PS3): Final Fantasy XIII is flop in Japan

Despite having clocked sales figures very high in the version for PlayStation 3 (nearly two million copies sold in Japan and more than five million worldwide), Final Fantasy XIII at home no little difficulty in winning the Xbox 360 owners. In Japan, in fact, the game was released for Microsoft's console just a few days ago with a year of delay on the PlayStation 3 version and in the top 50 games sold in the last week has not gone beyond the thirty-ninth position.

SOUL CALIBUR V (PS3): Confirmed the new Soul Calibur

As noted by many (for example Ripten), Christmas Day came the confirmation of a new chapter of Soul Calibur in production - the fifth, unless it is a spin-off - at Namco Bandai. This was announced by the new project manager, Daishi Odashima, accompanied by a posting on Twitter from photos found in the bottom of this news - that reveals virtually nothing about the game but it confirms the questionable taste in shirts and Eastern hairstyles hair.

DEAD RED REDEMPTION (PS3): Working conditions "extreme" in Rockstar?

It is not the first time we hear about working conditions "inhumane" for employees of Rockstar San Diego, better known as the creators of the Most Red Dead Redemption, fresh from Game of the Year title awarded to the Spike Video Game Awards. To make matters worse we thought a blog post on the staff of Zero Dean, deleted as soon as the "voice" started to circulate, the content of which was repeated on Web Eurogamer, the author, who makes no secret of his identity he actually worked as a Senior Environment Artist at the game development team.
