Revealed by the development team, in an interview with Famitsu As we know, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be released in retail format for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and will be delivered at a budget price in an operation similar to that which led to the Arcade Edition Street Fighter IV in stores.
However, the original plans were these: the game was to come out as a simple DLC for the basic version of Marvel vs.. Capcom 3, as revealed by its creators in an interview with Famitsu. The reasons for this decision are somehow related to the earthquake that struck Japan in March, as well as health problems that affected some of the staff.
The Ultimate Marvel vs. output. Capcom 3 is scheduled in November. The game, at the moment is 80% complete.
