THQ has signed an agreement with the co-developer of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios, to develop a multiplayer shooter to be published in 2013. "This is our most ambitious project ever, the support of THQ will allow us to give life to our ideas," says the COO of Turtle Rock, Phil Robb. "We will bring the experience to a new level of FPS, we can not wait to show you the features of the game." "Turtle Rock Studios has developed a co-op games of the most original and popular of the current generation of consoles, and we believe this project will be able to have a similar impact on the multiplayer segment," said Danny Bilson, THQ.
