Capcom announces Ixion Saga

Capcom has announced Ixion Saga, a new "beat 'em up" unique multiplayer PC, due out in 2012. According Andriasang, the game was introduced in the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, and propose a 16-player multiplayer team-based combat based on swords, firearms and magic. You can choose between three different character classes: Striker, Caster and Blaster.

The article does not refer to a possible western exit of the game and there are no pictures, but the company has already opened it teaser site which should give you an idea of the atmosphere of the game. According to the date that stands out on the home page, the full site (or at least the first info and images) is expected to go online Thursday, July 7.

Pac-Man arcade game is the favorite of all time

At least according to a survey A special survey was organized by KontroFreak to elect favorite arcade game of the historical and apparently Pac-Man has conquered the summit rather easily. Final Fantasy Collection HD coming?

Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the Final Fantasy series, said during a recent interview that Square Enix is considering the possibility of making a Final Fantasy Collection HD. Kitase held to specify that the company has not yet decided anything about it and that much will depend on requests from fans.

Obviously the producer has not said anything about the titles that could be included in this compilation possible, but the feeling is that Square Enix could focus on the most recent Final Fantasy X-2 X and XII.
