A spectacular fan film is not yet clear what it is, but since this first video released on the net it seems fairly clear that the mysterious Project Find Makarov concerns a sort of amateur short films or independent or otherwise. Viewed this way, it seems a very high profile production, although not exactly "Hollywood" in the video we see various scenes of war live action, built with extreme attention to detail and an emphasis on action.
At various times, it seems indeed to live scenes of Call of Duty in person, with actors in the flesh. Started with a countdown that seemed to be tied to a chapter of Call of Duty, after the denial of Activision Find Makarov was later revealed to be an independent project inspired by the famous FPS.
