Specific basis for reducing the NGP?

There is a rumor that in the last hour has gone around the world, under which Sony would be thinking of lowering the technical specifications of the model based NGP/PSP2, in order to compete on price with 3DS. As the price of the Nintendo console is 259 €, the audience begins to wonder about what will cost the different models of NGP.

IndustryGamers states that a "very reliable French source" refers to a basic model without 3G support and a reduced from 512 to 256MB RAM. The same model could sacrifice the internal flash memory to a storage medium outside the bargain. The graphical capabilities, however, should remain intact.

Sony hopes to launch the Next Generation Portable later this year, but many are now not to believe, or at least not to believe that the company will succeed in all regions. Japan will probably be the only country in which the heir of PSP will be able to show up for Christmas. Sony should reveal more details about this during the upcoming E3.
