Harmonix against Viacom

A legal battle As reported by Gamasutra, Harmonix has gone against Viacom to court, because of alleged unpaid bonus from the company for the results achieved by the Rock Band franchise. The case is brought by members of the team itself, with the founders Alex Rigopulos and Eran Egozy in the first line, which by some ex-shareholders of the group.

Under the agreement the acquisition of Harmonix by Viacom, in fact, shareholders were to receive a bonus on return on investment based on financial results before the games, once exceeded $ 32 million and 45 million thereafter. In essence, must have applied a "multiplier" which increases with virtually no gains on the shares expire (at least, the agreement specifies no limit), the second thing that the accusers did not happen.

So we are waiting for any developments, waiting for us to understand what is the fate of Harmonix, which is currently offered for sale by Viacom.
