Activision here is the evidence of sabotage by Electronic Arts

According to documents brought to court by the lawyers of Activision, in an exchange of e-mail with EA's Lincoln Hershberger, the former boss of Infinity Ward's Vince Zampella would have agreed with rival Activision to postpone the Stimulus Pack 2 Modern Warfare for the benefit of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, whose debut was set more or less the same period.

"A few months ago I asked Vince to keep the map pack waiting for the launch of our game (he owes me a favor). Since they have already made a billion, for he is not a problem, but obviously Kotick has assessed the as a challenge. " Jeff Brown, spokesman for EA, told Kotaku that it was just a joke: "He was sarcastic.

You can see clearly from the tone of the e-mail that they were joking. We tried to explain it to Activision's legal but does not seem to have the sense of humor. " Activision has attached to the e-mail accusation that "to protect the weaker series of Battlefield Bad Company, EA has agreed secretly with Zampella and West in order to increase sales to the detriment of BFBC Call of Duty." In other documents produced by Activision, which has sued EA claiming damages of $ 400 million for the alleged damage caused by EA at Infinity Ward and COD, it is stated: "During the second week of November 2009, a manager of EA Brown informed the meeting aimed at defining the terms of the agreement.

" A few days later, Riccitiello was informed of the need to "meet our two friends" and to "adopt a more aggressive attitude." In March, Activision has dismissed West Zampella and accusing them of being in cahoots with EA, and the two former Infinity Ward have in turn sued Activision for non-payment of certain bonuses and have subsequently agreed with EA after the initiation of a new study, Respawn, whose activities remain, however, probably will not be locked until clarity on the issue in court.
