After the closure of the studies 3D Realms, and the subsequent cancellation of Duke Nukem Forever, we run the risk that the Duke's favorite video games did not make its appearance in the more traditional list of "Vaporware" year out of the on-line Wired, available since yesterday at this address and opened by its wiry "savior of mankind" with cigar and glasses of order.
The game is in fact now in safe hands (those of Gearbox) and, at least for this year, we continue to wait anxiously. But what else is on the list of products "all smoke and no fire" that have not yet materialized? Other appearances in video games, as well as Duke Nukem, consist of LA Noire in ninth place, the "father" of all the stragglers Mod more of the story, or for Black Mesa Source Engine, fourth, and - the sound of trumpets - Half-Life 2: Episode Three on the second step of the podium, just below the now mythical white iPhone that "wins" the not-too-coveted award for 2010.
