Killzone 2 on track to Move

Guerrilla revealed he thought long and a binary version of Killzone 2 is compatible with PlayStation Move. During an interview with Ars Technica, the lead programmer Tommy de Roos spoke of the first experiments made by the Dutch software house with the new controller for the PlayStation 3. "When we had the first prototypes of Move we had not yet studied the implementation of motion control in Killzone.

As a study of first-party Sony did not have any experience in that area except for some small experiment with the SixAxis" (used in menu, to aim with the sniper rifle and perform other small actions in Killzone 2), de Roos explains. "We thought we could make the game more accessible for those who are not comfortable with a standard controller, while fans of the series so we could offer a little extra." "One of the first things that we thought was the realization of an on-rail Killzone 2.

Then we realized that it would be an immense task, because we had to redo the script that executes the fighting, so we dropped ". Killzone 3 In contrast, the Move has been implemented successfully by Guerrilla. "Move With the gameplay is incredibly intuitive and precise, shows its limitations when using the vehicles, but from the perspective of the potential of motion control in a FPS hardcore sets high standards." "We've been contacted by numerous studies," says de Roos.

"I think in this we can take important steps forward." Killzone 3 will be available on PlayStation 3, starting from February 25.
