It seems that Sony has gone on the offensive against those who used the infamous Jailbreak for PlayStation 3. Mail alerts are sent to the individuals concerned to inform them of the suspension of their PlayStation Network account. James Gallagher, manager of Sony blog, said: "By identifying the PlayStation 3 systems that have violated our terms of safety and preventing their access to the PlayStation Network, we are protecting our business and players who prefer to use our services throughout honesty ".
Sony is currently involved in a lawsuit against George Hotz, the hacker who first violated the PlayStation 3 hardware making possible the use of pirated software.
