Dead Space 3 points to a wider audience

There was horror to conquer a substantial evolution in terms of visibility between Dead Space and Dead Space 2, but for EA Games is not enough. Frank Gibeau has made it clear to IGN: although it is obviously satisfied with the results, there is still scope for expansion in the horror genre, an area in which EA has not yet been fully established and is responsible Dead Space 3 to fill that gap.

The thing at this point can be risky because the merchandise changes between the first and the second chapter was miraculously able to match up with technical developments and the overall quality of the game itself, without distorting the perfect balance of survival horror production Visceral.

Gibeau's intention is still to keep the game firmly within this genre, "without losing the quality and the mechanics of a typical survival horror," he told IGN, but when it comes to expanding the audience the question always arises in 'passionate. The model taken for example by the President of EA Games is just Resident Evil series, on which Capcom has managed to build an empire.

Dead Space 3, then, together with the upcoming Shadows of the Damned, are the weapons of EA Games for the conquest of horror and action in the third person. Source: IGN
