The theme of this year will be the creativity of the Nordic Game 2011 The organizers have confirmed that the first keynote of the conference will be held by Jordan Mechner, creator of the original Prince of Persia. Born in New York in 1964, Mechner created the masterpiece in only twenty-five years, filming his brother David to develop the first ever in the form of motion capture in a video game.
Over the years, he devoted himself to cinema and writing screenplays, working with the relaunch of the franchise to Ubisoft Prince of Persia. Mechner will not be the only guest of the Nordic Game 2011, anyway. This year's conference (to be held in Malmo, Sweden, May 10 to 13) will have as its main theme and creativity will be attended by speakers from the likes of PopCap Games, Insomniac, Microsoft, Codemasters, CCP, and Autodesk others.
