EA wants a new EA Sports MMA

The producer of Fight Night Champion, Mike Mahar, praised the work done by EA Tiburon for EA Sports MMA and said he hoped for a sequel devoted to mixed martial arts. "Sport is very popular and I do not think that has already passed its peak," said Mahar at CVG. "The guys who developed the game did a fantastic job, I think the title would have deserved a higher average rating (79 and 77 respectively for 360 and PS3 versions on Metacritic).

Mahar said that Broadcast Live, EA Sports introduced the feature that allows you to watch the MMA matches played by others, could be implemented in the next Fight Night: "We have got their hands on the technology of Live Broadcast too late and we could not implement it Champion in Fight Night, but in the future, regardless of the type of game that will develop, will use it definitely.

" Electronic Arts EA Sports MMA published last October on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Sales were modest, but the publisher seems to want to focus more on IP.
