Among the ideas it is possible to extend the functionality Steam Play also between PS3, PC and Mac, or that they could buy a single license and be able to download the game in all other versions, perhaps with the ' implementation of features such as remote storage cloud and unlockable common goals.
Xbox 360 on the issue would require a major agreement with Microsoft, but on the PS3 in particular the integration of steam could lead to new features like the ability to chat outside of the individual Valve games using the Steam platform. However, these are decisions that need to be taken by mutual agreement with producers, which is not easy to maintain, at least for the moment.
