Cohort Studios closes its doors

The developer of The Shoot, Cohort Studios, has closed its doors, as reported by Develop. The developer, based in Dundee pointed the finger at "the difficulties inherent in a declining market such as the console." Cohort has developed the exclusive PlayStation 3, The Shoot, one of the first titles compatible with the PlayStation controller Move.

Founded in 2006, the firm had assets of titles such as games in the Buzz! Junior Lemmings, and has worked on racing game Burnout Paradise and Motorstorm. In May debut on the PlayStation Store title in the series Minis, Me Monster: Hear Me Roar.
