LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: Review, PS3, XBox, PC, Wii, 3DS

Could not fail to coincide with the release of a film title to offer video games, as usual, are the guys to take advantage of Traveller's Tales, obviously we're talking LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, published a few days perPC, PS3 and Xbox 360 but also available perWii and Nintendo 3DS. LEGO fans of the series already know what to expect from this title since the basic formula repeated for several chapters, too, perhaps repeated, but we can say a priori that this is an addictive and fun both during the action in the animated sketch where the little yellow characters introduce other game scenarios with discussions friendly and undemanding fortunately in Italian.

The setting is familiar to everyone, even those who did not see or does not wish to see the film, is based on a fleet of pirates who will roam the vast Atlantic Ocean in search of treasure, all this defending fleets of pirates seek to decimate our fearless crew, all taking place under a simplified structure that is in combat in the continuation of the main story, solving puzzles and collecting treasures from the simple solution hidden in various locations.

It would seem nothing new compared to the space adventures of Star Wars, and indeed is the case, but the style in which the characters have been renovated and the atmosphere alternative is certainly a good reason to try this new chapter that collects the adventures of the characters in the film seen film, resulting in a key way to relive one of the games most exciting film sagas of the last 10 years.

A special note deserves the large group of characters available, it will use all the characters seen in the four chapters of the film saga, also possess the same characteristics in some cases be recognized from the outset of the characters seen in the cinema, this is really a in favor of this title, even if key in hardcover, is able to reproduce a unique style for most of the main characters, making it superior in this aspect even more famous titles.

Other developers are welcomed to do the quality of textures, this title is not leave anything to chance, or nearly so, with regard to the objects and the surrounding landscape, which provides a good interaction with the actions of the character, which may in the case of articles containing doubloons easily recognize them as composed of Lego bricks, making it easy to find but at the same time engaging.

Not excited but the quality of some graphical gimmicks such as special effects results sometimes over the top, losing a few points in the overall evaluation of the title is still a great package. In short we can say that in all versions of this game LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is a way to try, surely will not be disappointed by the simple game mode that serves as a plot device to play smooth and undemanding, useful at times when we need a game is not too demanding and that will allow us to have fun without going too much for the thin, being suitable for players of all ages.

For those who want to have a game from the issues involved, a history and a fitting setting realistic, we recommend trying the game first and then decide if it is for their own, even if it's really designed to engage players of all ages for its simplicity. The final grade for this title is 7, unfortunately there are many things that should be improved, but surely this is a great step forward for the future of the LEGO franchise, which gave a breath of fresh air to a plot centered on the fight Galaxy now.
