The latest issue of American magazine Game Informer has revealed the first official details on the new chapter of Assassin's Creed, Revelations. We already knew that the protagonist is once again Ezio Auditore from Florence, but now we also know that in this new adventure, our hero will have over 50 years.
Ezio this time in search of memories of his ancestor Altaïr detail of the script and this will allow us to directly control the protagonist of Assassin's Creed at various stages of the game. The city of Constantinople, the main adventure scenario will be divided into four districts, but later in the game will also visit the region of Cappadocia in central Turkey.
In terms of gameplay there are several new features. One of these will be represented by a sort of hook that Ezio can use to navigate and that will make "browsing" through the city much more dynamic than in previous episodes. We will also provide the beauty of 300 (?!?) variants of bombs and the power of the Eagle Eye will be slightly different.
This time will be called Eagle Way and will enable us to know more about the characters we meet. "The Way of the Eagle will know where a character was just before and, approximately, where it will go soon," said Alex Amancio Ubisoft. "In some cases you can also understand the way that the guards will, above, to prepare booby traps or ambush." The basic concept of the Brotherhood of the Borgia Tower will be expanded and the result is the Cove of the Assassins of Constantinople.
When we have conquered certain areas of the city killing the Templars as its president, we will improve the look and add architectural details that will allow us to move around more easily. During the game we will also lose control of some of the conquered areas, but we can train troops to defend them.
Alternatively we can also give the command to a Master Murderess to prevent any attempt of external conquest. The traditional side missions will be replaced by "random events" that will make the game more exciting and unpredictable. In this fourth exit Desmond will have more free access to its memory through a new feature Animus, called Black Room.
The multiplayer will be back, even more vast and complex, but the details in this regard have not yet been disclosed. The release of Assassin's Creed: Revelations is scheduled for November on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
