An interactive version of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy will be released for the iPhone OS platform thanks to Hothead Games. Hothead, DeathSpank series creator, is building the app on the iPhone and iPad will be released in the fall. The experience is designed for fans of Douglas Adams' sci-fi comedy, in which the Guide to the Galaxy provides a wide range of useful information for space travelers.
The app will follow the style of Adams irreverent, offering all possible references to the delight of hardcore fans.
