CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS (X360): CoD: Black Ops is the most pirated in 2010

Just like a year ago, here we are in front of the list of most pirated games of 2010 on PC platforms, Wii and Xbox 360, prepared by TorrrentFreak and so on, only, the file sharing protocol BitTorrent. If last year the dubious distinction went to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to this year have been particularly appreciated by pirates: we speak of no less than 4,270,000 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops download illegally in the PC version (almost two hundred thousand more than the Modern Warfare 2) and almost one million in the Xbox 360.

The ranking on the console but Microsoft sees another title at the top, or Dante's Inferno, with 1,280,000 copies, followed by Alan Wake and Dead Red Redemption. Moving on to Wii, finally, Super Mario Galaxy 2 can "boast" of nearly a half million copies downloaded, with Red Steel 2 closes the list of the first five games with "only" 850,000 downloads.

For completeness we note that there are some who maintain that these figures are completely "unpacked" in absolute value, but we believe it makes sense to bring them anyway because they give an indication about how piracy could hurt the video game industry (and, ultimately, the same players) when he goes to hit titles like Alan Wake, whose commercial success was unfortunately short of expectations.
