Friend Codes with the 3DS?

It seems that Nintendo will confirm the unpopular system of online matchmaking Friend Codes also 3DS, or at least that is what it seems on the issue based 3D Street Fighter IV. According to what reported in the preview of the game published by Famitsu (thanks Andriasang) will be necessary to exchange your friend code with anyone who wishes to challenge then online - even if they are otherwise present the classic "Quick Match" and "Custom Match" for games anonymous.

As of the writing is unfortunately not available any information that could confirm or deny that this system can cover the entire line-up of the console or the only Capcom fighting game. At least for now Nintendo has in fact refused to comment on the report, referring to Capcom for more information.

Now we just have to wait until January 19, the day when, thanks to an event dedicated to the 3DS to be held in Amsterdam, so we'll probably find out more.
