Xbox 360 sold out in the U.S. at Christmas

Thank Kinect? In one of his recent tweet, Major Nelson has stated that Xbox 360 is snapped over the Christmas period in the U.S.. Referring to sales data from NPD, Nelson said that the Microsoft console has been completely exhausted at the end of the month, and that the same way in January and February will be warmer months for sales.

According to analysts, the trade performance of the Xbox 360 are much higher than the PlayStation 3, approaching the figures obtained from Nintendo Wii. Kinect was launched in November and has enjoyed a massive marketing campaign in the U.S., so the report with the results achieved in recent times is evident.

Microsoft said, at CES, it has distributed to date eight million Kinect.
