In about 60 days, Microsoft has sold 8 million Kinect, has said CEO Steve Ballmer during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The result exceeded forecasts of the U.S. company, which earlier this year had suggested the sale of 5 million devices by Christmas. Ballmer also announced that the U.S.consul has passed the milestone of 50 million consoles sold worldwide. Active members of Xbox Live are 30 million, according to a statement from the U.S. producer.
