Torchlight comes to console exclusive for Xbox Live Arcade

It details the head of Runic Travis Baldtree confirms the arrival of Torchlight on Xbox Live Arcade, but announced that it will be exclusive to the digital delivery of Xbox 360, so there will be a version for PlayStation 3, or at least there are no levels on the matter for now. Microsoft will indeed be publisher for the Xbox 360 version, and being a project it seems quite challenging, is unlikely to be repeated for other platforms.

Adapting the action-RPG on the console sees a fundamental change in the controls, and PC are set in Diablo-style, while this version will be direct, without the cursor. E 'can control the speed of movement with the analog stick, while the combat system uses an auto-target but can also affect secondary targets which are located in the cone of action, with damages of secondary order.

According Runic we can get an idea of the system looking Dark Alliance or Champions of Norrath. The pace of the action will be fast, while fighting for the wide-ranging system of pointing and dodging will be "easier." Completely revised its inventory management system, largely automated with priorities assigned by the system, and the user interface, in addition to the graphical elements of extra-playful edge.

Will remain all the skills and the evolution of the characters seen in the original version. Some features, such as auto-mapping, are taken directly from the new features in Torchlight 2 currently in development. Everything will be contained in a package of 200 MB, of which expect to know the price and release date.

Will still be in the next "House Party" on Xbox Live Arcade, the outputs of which will begin from February 16.
