UK - the games industry in decline

One report speaks of an industry at risk, despite recent successes in spite of the success of many UK developers, the workforce of the UK games industry could shrink by a quarter over the next five years. The data is contained in a 85-page document with which the association TIGA asked the British government tax breaks for the videogame industry.

Exemptions and concessions would be a real investment on the part of the United Kingdom, provided that the data are accurate course of TIGA. The report speaks of 3000 jobs created and protected, and a volume of money that is around 431 million pounds. Source: GamesIndustry
