Bungie defends the deal with Activision

Bungie has defended the choice of the company to enter into an agreement with Activision for publishing the games belong to a new IP. "We are excited about the agreement and does not seem that Activision is going to interfere in our decisions," said Bungie composer Marty O'Donnell, to IndustryGamers.

"Activision is the publisher and provide all possible support, developers were seeking self-sufficient in matters related to the development and production. Natralia, from time to time we need money." "They wanted an experienced team and the nature of our agreement excites us. Maybe it's because we are only at the early stages but it seemed like the right thing to do." In April of 2010, Bungie and Activision signed a ten-year agreement for the release of the new IP of the author of Halo.

"How many publishers can afford a ten-year agreement with Bungie?" Says O'Donnell. "Without a doubt, Microsoft is one of them, and to another but are very few who can actually do this kind of agreement." Still scant news about the new IP from Bungie. Rumor has it could be a MMO, a "World of Warcraft in space", as suggested by some, but Bungie has not yet made known design features.
