THQ has announced a trial version of the multiplayer Homefront. Confirmation was given by CEO Brian Farrell, but did not provide information on the launch date of the demo. "It is not a usual strategy Homefront but shines in its multiplayer for 32 players," says the manager, THQ. "With our marketing campaign we have reached many people with the demo and we hope to encourage more consumers to buy Homefront." Farrell said that the developers are currently working on a series of "robust" DLC, but again declined to give details.
According to THQ, the shooter launched in March on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has sold (to retailers) 2.6 million copies worldwide.
