Sony announced that PlayStation games for Life will have regional blocks, just like PS3. Confirming the news was Michael Denny of Sony Worldwide Studios during a chat with IGN. You can then, for example, buy a PSVita Japan without the fear that he does not turn European titles. Why do it? Probably because Japan is the region where first released the new handheld console Sony.
Same goes for the games, which often are taken out first in the East or the United States, and only then in Europe ... at best.
