Just a quiet little greeting after finishing work on Civilization V, Jon Shafer, lead designer who practically built the fifth chapter of the strategic set, decided to leave the development team at Firaxis. After 5 years and 11 months of service with the team of Sid Meier, therefore, Shafer thanked everyone, he did not know of any friction at Firaxis and 2K Games, takes bags and leaves.
What is his next destination is not yet known, however it is highly likely that the developer reappear in some important role in other companies, we'll see.
