Some Japanese retailers, Nintendo would have stopped production of the Nintendo DSi. The last units available for the Nintendo DS model in question are those currently available in stores, reported Kotaku. The popular website suggests that the decision was made by Nintendo in order to differentiate from the Nintendo DS will hit Japanese stores that 3DS few weeks.According to the same rumor, the DSi XL will otherwise remain in production. Launched in 2008, the DSi is the third model of Nintendo DS. Similar in structure to the DS Lite, has a camera and allows access to the Nintendo DSi Shop.
