Recognition for Molyneux at GDC

During the Game Developers Conference to be held in San Francisco next month, the Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux to get an award for his career in the gaming industry. A reward the creator of Fable in the ceremony to be held on March 2 will be the leader of Double Fine, Tim Schafer. "Peter is an important part of the gaming industry, and embodies all that is the Lifetime Achievement Award," said the director of GDC, Megan Scavo.

"We are proud to reward a man who has had a profound impact on the industry thanks to his enthusiasm and his talent, characteristics that have allowed him to develop games beloved by players around the world." Molyneux took its first steps in 1982 when sold to Atari floppy disks; founded Bullfrog Productions in 1987, with study designs which Populous and Theme Park.

In 1995 the company was acquired by EA, but Molyneux has already led to Lionhead Studios, whose first game will be the strategy for the 2001 Black & White PC. In 2004, the first born Fable Xbox, the series which Molyneux has spent the last years of his career.
