The event dedicated to Next Generation Portable, Sony has shown the user interface of its new handheld console, the LiveArea. As reported by Oli Welsh's Videogame Source, this is "a combination of features of Facebook-like interface integrated into Xbox Live." A series of three-dimensional icons allow quick access to games, applications and features NGP.
LiveArea connects to the PlayStation Store and the transition from games to the user interface is smooth and instantaneous. With LiveArea you can communicate with the users in the buddy list, compare the progress goals in a game and unlocked. "LiveArea deepens the experience of the traditional game," says Sony.
