Sony announced PlayStation Suite, a service that will bring the classics of the first PlayStation on Android. During the event held in Tokyo, Sony boss Kaz Hirai has promised that the service, available later this year, will bring "the legendary contents of the first PlayStation" on mobile devices. No title in particular has been announced so far.
A service called PlayStation Certified developers will help in quality control of the games. Hirai talks about a "neutral structure in terms of hardware" that will bring content characterized by the "quality of the PlayStation brand" on any portable device. "We believe that PlayStation Suite is a key initiative for portable entertainment," said Kaz Hirai.
