AESVI announced via a press preview of the data in the annual report on the games industry in Italy, developed by GfK Retail and Technology for 2010, which will be published in full in the spring. In detail, the market for console games (Console Games) has been an increase both in volume (+1.5%, for a total of 15,983,417 units sold) and value (+4.4% or 605 628 153 000 euro), backed by the home segment, or video games for consoles fixed, which recorded a 9.6% by volume (11,528,296 units sold) and +12.6% in value (to 485 811 832 000 €), confirming the Italians' preference for the home game.
" In fall, but PC games, "which represent a -19.9% in volume for a total of 1,739,749 units sold, and a -15.4% in value, amounting to 40,251,078,000 euro.
