Ubisoft has confirmed that the next episode of Assassin's Creed is a game full "retail" and not a downloadable title for the digital distribution services. During a conference call with shareholders, the CEO Yves Guillemot talked about Ubisoft's new chapter in the series but did not provide details of the nature of the project.
Guillemot merely confirmed that it will be a downloadable game, and said that in a few months will be announced the features of the new Assassin's Creed, which will hit stores by the end of 2011: "All I can say is that we have a new Assassin's Creed in 2011. In May, we will provide further details.
" In 2010, Ubisoft released Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the game can sell 6.5 million copies around the world. Brotherhood is the third installment of the series after Assassin's Creed Assassin's Creed 2.
