Contrary to what was previously announced, in Gears of War 3 will not be able to unlock extra items obtained through Target in Epic games. Many of you may recall that in December last year, Cliff Bleszinski announced that whoever owned backups of games like Unreal Tournament III, Shadow Complex, Bulletstorm Gears of War or earlier, could have access to exclusive content in the third installment of the series.
The thing is confirmed in the previous Gears, but not for other Epic games. To confirm via Twitter was one of the lead programmer of the game, Joe Graf, who also apologized to the players arguing about technical issues. "There is unfortunately impossible to read the Achievements of games do not belong to Epic in Gears of War 3, which forces us to take this painful step backwards." And what about Shadow Complex, Epic game created by the team Chair Entertainment for Xbox Live Arcade? "Shadow is our Complex for publication, but his ID is not part of the 'family'," said Graf.
