During a videoconference with shareholders, the CEO of EA, John Riccitiello, said that profit dall'MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic will be sufficient to achieve a catchment area of 500,000 subscribers. "And over a million subscribers you have an extremely profitable business," said Riccitiello, who is also back on rumors that EA would invest some $ 300 million nell'MMO.
While acknowledging the "signficativi costs of development," Riccitiello speaks of "numerous lies that have brought up figures considerably higher than we invested." Several analysts said they were skeptical of MMO developed by BioWare, the authors talk about Mass Effect, however, a risky bet for Electronic Arts but that ultimately may prove successful.
