Hotz hunted by Sony

George 'Geohot' Hotz, the hacker responsible for violating the security of PlayStation 3, has decided to emigrate to South America rather than face to face to contend with Sony's lawyers. "After the judge has ordered an inspection of the material held by Hotz and ordered him to appear for a deposition in California, the director has deliberately removed some components of its hard disk and decided to go to South America," said Japan company's lawyers.

At this point things start to get really very serious for the "poor" George. Sony is experiencing a long series of data on its behalf, including its PlayStation Network account. "Hotz has four PS3. He said to have bought one in February 2010 and has provided the serial number of the same.

SCEA has confirmed that in fact the code was a console purchased by Hotz February 25 at a GameStop that is close his house. " "The console itself was then used on 10 March to register your PSN account 'blickmanic'. Tthe address of the IP registration was located in Glen Rock, New Jersey, where he lives Hotz.
