The video game industry against earthquake

Are increasing fundraising for earthquake victims in a tragedy like the earthquake that hit Japan last week has big implications for all aspects in the life of a nation, even a well organized and neat as can be Japan's. Obviously this is not the place to examine the implications of such an event, but it is fair to understand how the world of video games will also be strongly influenced and how to participate in the general drama.

Of the need for publishers to remove the game server has been discussed in other news. Some multinational companies have also turned off the game rooms to conserve energy, as required by the Japanese government to all citizens. You will be pleased to know that some publishers have decided to make strong contributions and launch campaigns to support the victims most affected by the earthquake.

Let's see the list of initiatives undertaken so far: Koei Tecmo has donated 10 million yen to the Japan Red Cross, collecting donations from employees and users. Sega Sammy has donated 200 million yen. Nintendo won 300 million yen. Namco Bandai has donated 100 million yen through the Bandai Namco Group.

The company is one of those who finished the game rooms for the reasons explained above. 5pb. cut the price of Memories Off 6 T-Wave iOS for bringing it from 2000 to 350 yen. Until March 31, all proceeds from sales will be donated to charity application. The Sony Group will donate 300 million yen and 30,000 radios.

It seems that Toshimichi Mori, the producer of the series BlazBlue, is thinking about the possibility of creating downloadable content for PS3 and Xbox 360 with the aim of raising funds for earthquake victims. Source: Andriasang
