Tools for modding the PC version of Crysis 2 will be available in summer, announced the CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli on Crymod. com. The tools allow you to create "items, new maps and custom content for Crysis 2," said Yerli. "You'll be amazed of the possibilities that you're offering." In August, the developer will also have the dev kit CryENGINE 3.
"It will be the full version of our engine," says the CEO of Crytek. The download is free, but "if you want to create a game to sell we can offer an innovative licensing model and low cost."
