The latest chapter in the Hitman series in development at IO Interactive might be called Hitman: Absolution. As reported by Siliconera, the publisher has indeed registered the brand in the category "computer game software." Hitman 5 has not yet been officially revealed, some sources close to IO Interactive, however, confirmed that the game is in development and should hit the shelves in late 2011.
The last chapter of the series, Hitman: Blood Money, was published in 2006 on PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360.
