Codemasters has responded to the protests of the owners of the PlayStation 3 version of DiRT 3 at the time, because of the VIP Pass and the non-recovery of the PS Store, can not redeem the code that allows access to the multiplayer racing game. Similar problem happened to Mortal Kombat game released by Warner Bros, but in this case the publisher has decided to disable the blocking of the multiplayer.
"We thought about doing something similar with DiRT 3 but from a technical standpoint it is not possible," said Codemasters to Videogame Source. "Take a long time and we should make a patch to Sony. In the end everything will be resolved as quickly as waiting for the recovery of the PS Store." Restoration which should arrive by the end of May, according to the latest updates from Sony.
