Enterbrain forecasts for 2011 Although not a very encouraging start to tell the truth, 3DS Enterbrain believes that Nintendo will prove to be the best-selling console in Japan in 2011. The company, which also owns the famous Famitsu magazine in its subsidiaries in its annual report on the progress the game industry has provided 2.8 million units sold in 2011 for Nintendo 3DS, while PSP should stop at 2.3 million units.
For the moment, 3DS has sold 996,019 units in Japan, including 742,244 in the first 4 weeks of market presence. The problem, of course, is the sharp drop in sales recorded after the first month of launch, which saw PSP firmly back in command of the rankings of the best-selling console in Japan.
